AIR QUALITY SERVICE ALERT

Link Transit Service Will Suspend Service at AQI 849

Wildfire smoke is significantly impacting our region, including Link Transitโ€™s service area. In compliance with Washington State L&I smoke rules, if AQI reaches 849, Link Transit will temporarily suspend service for the safety of our employees and the public.

We monitor the AQI atย www.airnow.gov using Wenatchee data, specifically the air quality sensor at Wenatchee Valley College.

We encourage riders to plan for other transportation when AQI starts reaching levels past 700.

If service is paused, buses will complete their route then go to nearest comfort station or Columbia Station until AQI drops to safer levels. All paratransit passengers who have already been transported to their destinations will be picked up at their scheduled return time and safely transported home.

N95 masks are available at Guest Services at Columbia Station, as well as several distribution sites.

For more info, call Guest Services at 509-662-1155

Bus stops may be closed due to capital projects, construction, or events and may experience delays and/or deviated routes.

Be sure to check our Routes & Schedules page or your preferred app (Transit app, MyStop app) for Service Alert updates. This page will be updated when stops are closed and routes are detoured.
