WHAT IS DIAL-A-RIDE
DART (Dial-A-Ride Transportation) service is a shared ride  transportation option for all persons in the greater Leavenworth area. The general public may use it for all trips that are not served by the Leavenworth trolley or Route 22.
LinkPlus eligible riders may ride DART to all destinations within the DART service area.

HOURS
DART service is available from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM Monday through Friday, and 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays.  No service is available on Sundays.
FARES
The fare for DART service is $1.00 per trip. If you wish to travel on additional Link Transit vehicles,  request a reciept showing you have already paid one fare,  and then your day pass will be discounted by $1.00.
Monthly passes and day passes issued on Link Transit fixed route buses will be accepted on DART. Day passes will not be issued for DART use exclusively.
RESERVATIONS
DART reservations must be made by the day preceding the desired trip, or up to five days in advance. A maximum of four trips may be booked with a single phone call.
Subscription trips may be made if you would like to travel to the same location at the same time every day, or on  a regular basis.
HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION
To book your ride, call 662-3569. Reservation hours are
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Saturday.Tell the reservationist the location where you need to be picked up, your destination and required arrival time,  what time you wish to return, and where you need to be returned to.
Pickup times may be up to ten minutes before or after your requested time.
DESTINATION ARRIVAL TIMES
As this is a shared ride service, there may be other passengers being picked up and dropped off after you have boarded the bus.
If you need to be at a location at a specific time,  let the reservationist know this when you book your ride.  Please allow extra time if you need to be at your destination at a specific time, for example a medical appointment or to meet an inbound fixed route bus.
OPERATING POLICIES
To simplify this service for all  riders, DART operating policies will be identical to the LinkPlus service except that it will serve the broader area shown on the map.
For general public users, the policies will be identical to the LinkPlus policies with the exception of: 1) service area policy, 2) Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) policy,3) door to door policy, and 4) allowable origins/destinations policy. (LinkPlus policies are available in the
LinkPlus Riders Guide or the ADA paratransit plan (both available by calling 662-1155. 
Personal Care Attendents (PCA’S)
Only ADA eligible riders qualified to have a PCA will be allowed to have them ride for free on DART.
Door to Door Service  
ADA riders are  eligible for door to door service upon request. General public riders will be provided curb to curb service.
Allowable Origins/Destinations
General public riders will only be transported if the origin and destination are within the DART service area and either the origin or destination is more than ¾ of mile from the trolley route or Route 22.  
Cancelling Trips
If you need to cancel your trip for any reason, call
662-3569 at least one hour before the time your trip was scheduled. Trips canceled less than one hour before will be considered a “no-show” (see below).
No Show Policy
Riders who continually fail to cancel their trips one hour prior to pickup time or those who are not available to board the bus as scheduled, may be subject to a brief suspension of their services.
