Monthly PassesBeginning in January, 2009, youth ages 6-19 can ride Link Transit for a reduced fare.50¢ for a one-zone trip $1.00 for a two-zone trip $1.25 for a one-zone day pass $2.50 for a two-zone day pass Youth who are frequent riders are able to purchase monthly passes at reduced prices. These can be obtained only at Columbia Station or Online. Other pass sales outlets do not have Youth Passes. One-zone monthly passes cost $20.00 Two-zone monthly passes cost $35.00. High school students may be asked to provide identification at the time of boarding buses or purchasing passes to receive reduced fares; such as a current ASB Card, driver’s license or non-driver photo ID card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles. Summer Freedom PassesLink Transit has a special summer pass for those aged 12* to 19. For just $60 for the summer (May 28 - September 3), you can purchase an unlimited use pass good on all Link Transit fixed routes at any time. Passes may be purchased at Columbia Station, or by sending a check for $60 to 300 S. Columbia Street, ATTN: Guest Services, Wenatchee WA 98801. The Summer Freedom Pass is good through September 3. Save time and money by not having to shuttle your kids to all theiractivities. Riding transit is safe and convenient for your kids. After School Activities Pass (ASAP)Link Transit has put together a program to help students and families get around our communities. For just $90 per school year (September - June), you can purchase an unlimited use pass good on all Link Transit fixed routes at any time. This program is not designed to take the place of the regular school bus, but rather to give options for students who have transportation needs during the school day for work, medical appointments, or after school, whether it is because of extra curricular activities, employment, or just needing to get around. Passes for the 2009 - 2010 school are available to purchase at Columbia Station now. The pass will be valid from August 24, 2009 to June 18, 2010. Passes purchased from January thru March will be prorated to the cost of $60.00. $10 from each pass sold through a participating school is returned to that school's ASB fund. The student purchases a voucher at one of the above schools, and then brings the voucher to Columbia Station to obtain their pass.You must come to Columbia Station in person to get your pass, as we will need to take your picture. If your school is not taking part in this program, you are still able to purchase a pass. Come to Columbia Station and a Guest Services representative will prepare a pass for you. Just bring in picture ID and proof of enrollment at your school. The pass will still cost $90, all of which goes to Link Transit.
